ARMADA Director of Preparedness & Response Appointed to EMAP Commission

ARMADA Director of Preparedness & Response Ed Buikema was asked by the National Emergency Management Association (NEMA) to be one of their appointees to the Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP) Commission. Mr. Buikema will be representing the private sector on the Commission.
The EMAP Commission is the governing and decision-making body of EMAP and has ten members; five are appointed by NEMA and five by the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM). There are currently 23 states accredited by NEMA.
